Arlington Weaves Etc., and Arlington Artists Alliance invite everyone to join us on Friday, August 8, 11 AM–1 PM at the Alliance Gallery to learn how to weave on a tabletop loom. Come and explore weaving with yarns and threads of all colors and textures. Learn how threads are interwoven to create colorful, textural, and vibrant fabrics. We will explore plain weaving—the foundation of all weaving techniques—alongside more complex and intricate weave structures. We look forward to a creative and fun event open to all ages. The event is part of the “Threads and Expressions” show programming.
